Save-the-dates
I saw a picture somewhere of someone’s save-the-dates that I haven’t been able to get out of my head. They were magnets, with pictures of the couple on them taken from a photobooth. Or at least what looked like it was taken from a photobooth. I did a little searching today….and whaddayaknow, I found out how to do it myself, and am super pumped to get started. Luckily, I have a camera that has tons of different settings and should be able to cater to my needs.
Speaking (sorta) of photography, it’s something I’ve decided I’m going to learn more about. I love taking pictures, and seem to be able to get good ones at times, but I think I could be more successful if I knew a little more what I was doing. I mean, since I’m only working part time, I’m going to have plenty of free time, so I figure I should do things I enjoy. That also includes playing the guitar more. I learned while we were in Portland, and love doing it, but have been slacking for a while now.
Second day of work today…still doing a lot of training, so it’s going to be a little while before I can really know what I think about the job. Only time will tell….
I’m going to end with what is becoming one of my favorite pictures the more I look at it. This was on the Channel Islands off the coast of California. It was sunset on our first night on the island, and this was taken from our campsite. If only life consisted of traveling around exploring new places…. I’d be set.
